Communities Create
I joined the Communities Create team as a Motion Designer near the beginning of the pandemic with a collective mission to unite Canadian creatives during unprecedented times.
My role was to storyboard, develop, and deliver an animated opening sequence, closing sequence, and various interstitials to aid in the user experience of the digital workshop series.
Storyboards/Style Frames
I designed the treatment and storyboards for the above animation and refined the texture palette alongside the project's director and with Toronto's 'Ramp' creative agency.
The project saw a significant change from my first draft to the final as seen below.
Through a detailed workflow, I was able to restrain the palette of colours and textures to create the finished project that received positive acclaim and remains a significant part of the Canadian Screen Award winning series.
